I swore to stay away from eating sushi last year, specifically raw tuna, due to the high mercury content and afraid of what it could do to my system. I missed the taste so much i just gave in plain and simple. Let me tell you, if you want to intensify the taste of these little morsels of goodness, then take a break from them. You'll have a nice surprise awaiting your senses when you decide to start eating it again. I felt a little guilty, but i didn't think about all the good things about sushi.
If it includes Seaweed, that's very healthy for you. It includes essential minerals, helps with metabolism and even boosts potency. We all know the benefits of fish and rice. Wasabi cleans your teeth. It includes isothiocyanates that help prevent cavities.
Anyways, You don't have to eat it with raw fish always. Mix it up. The Japanese word su means vinegar, and shi is from meshi, the Japanese word for rice, hence sushi is 'vinegared rice'. That's it. Try it with avocado or whatever. Just add sushi rice and seaweed there you go! Dive in these waters easy, but enjoy.
