Prince Book arrives

Got the Prince book Prince: Life & Times by Jason Draper, I wrote of earlier, in the mail yesterday. This book is huge. It measures about 13 x 9 inches. (Couldn't find a ruler). Think of an atlas but bigger. It also rocks a purple velvet cover for a very nice feel and look.

It pretty much documents, very honestly, everything that happens in his career up till now with amazing images and dictation. It's filled with a time line of awards, quotes from his royal badness , band members and friends, family pictures and so on. This is a must for the serious Prince fan.

Spinach Pita Recipe

What do you do when you wake up with an abundance of spinach and pita? Make a Spinach pita. Spinach is the base so it’s very light, extremely refreshing and perfect if you’re feeling a little vegan.

Spinach Pita with pickled eggs

1 1/2 cup chopped spinach

1 very ripe avocado

1/4 cup diced tomato

1/4 cup diced cucumber

1/8 cup chopped red onion

2 tlbs lime juice

1 tbls cilantro

Pita bread

Mix first seven ingredients in a bowl. Slice Pita bread in half. Pack mixture into half of pita. Enloy!

Pickled Eggs

Pickle jar

6 hard boiled eggs

4 Cloves

4 Bay leaves

1 tlbs Goya Sazon flavoring and coloring

1/2 jar Vinegar

1/2 jar Rice vinegar

Pickle seasoning

Mix ingredients together in pickle jar and let stand for 2 days to a week.

Prince has 3 new albums in the works ( MPLSOUND and Lotus Flower, as well as a record called Elixir) and is launching Lotusflow3r.com to showcase his new projects. The site is still in production but you can hear three new songs including his cover of Tommy James and the Shondells's Crimson and Clover.
