I found this gem of a movie on Youtube which features alot of the greats from back in the day. Walter Matthau, Alan Alda, Jane Fonda, Bill Crosby and Richard Pryor. Yea, Rich, my favorite. I never knew this movie exists!

It puts Richard and Bill Cosby playing friends going on vacation together. Right now Richard is having a little issue with his Hotel reservation.

As far as I can tell it was shot in beautiful technicolor. Simple plot.

I haven't finished watching it yet, Ill have to write the review later.. love the 70's movies.

What’s going through the veins? Mac and Cheese.

Lobster and Smoked Pork Mac and cheese

Ingredients.

Box of Premium Elbow Macaroni

½ pound smoked pork (smoked ham hock or smoked neck bone)

1 large Lobster tail.

½ pound Velveeta cheese

1 pound shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 Kraft Mac and cheese flavor envelope

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon of minced garlic

½ cup of cream

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

Preparation:

Boil smoked pork until it’s falling off the bone, and very tender. Set aside.

Put Elbow macaroni in 2 quarts of water and boil for 6-7 minutes andante’. Drain, cool with ice and place in refrigerator.

Saute lobster tail meat in pan of with olive oil and garlic until just pink, till almost done. Chop in small pieces. Set aside. Save drippings.

Saute butter until melted. Reduce heat, add cream and add Kraft flavoring packet. Continue until mixture is emulsified. Set aside.

Mix the sauteed butter, cream flavoring mixture with macaroni.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Place a layer of macaroni in a cake pan.

Place a layer of smoked pork on top of the first layer macaroni.

Layer a generous amount of Velveeta and sharp cheddar on next.

Add another layer of macaroni. Pour drippings of lobster oil over macaroni.

Add another generous layer of Velveeta and cheddar on top of the macaroni.

Add lobster meat into cheese on top of macaroni.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Enjoy.

I just couldn't stop forever.

I swore to stay away from eating sushi last year, specifically raw tuna, due to the high mercury content and afraid of what it could do to my system. I missed the taste so much i just gave in plain and simple. Let me tell you, if you want to intensify the taste of these little morsels of goodness, then take a break from them. You'll have a nice surprise awaiting your senses when you decide to start eating it again. I felt a little guilty, but i didn't think about all the good things about sushi.

If it includes Seaweed, that's very healthy for you. It includes essential minerals, helps with metabolism and even boosts potency. We all know the benefits of fish and rice. Wasabi cleans your teeth. It includes isothiocyanates that help prevent cavities.

Anyways, You don't have to eat it with raw fish always. Mix it up. The Japanese word su means vinegar, and shi is from meshi, the Japanese word for rice, hence sushi is 'vinegared rice'. That's it. Try it with avocado or whatever. Just add sushi rice and seaweed there you go! Dive in these waters easy, but enjoy.

Throughout my life people were always telling me.... You got "good hair"... Where you get that "good hair" from? I never thought too much about it. That is until the late 80's when i tried to get a high top fade but couldn't get that box shape just right. Anyway most African American women would die for the texture I was blessed with.

Did you know that African American women purchase 80% of all hair care products available on the market, though they only make up 6-7% of the entire population. That's enormous.

Chris Rock debuted a documentary that chronicles this phenomenon at Sundance and is a recipient of A Special Jury Prize.

Not sure why, but I’ve been watching a lot, I mean A LOT of Travel Channel these days. Maybe it’s just my appreciation for the way other people live around the globe. Though, the images that show on the screen seem to be so vivid and full of life. No, I don’t subscribe to some pricey High Definition cable service. Things just seem to look better on this channel.

The country sides of Europe, the temples in Asia, the exotic and sometimes downright disgusting foods, just intrigues the imagination and seems to fulfill the purpose of what a box of moving pictures should do. Is it me or does anyone else ever notice how they are always filming in Asia?

Favorites are Andrew Zimmerman: Bizarre Foods, of course, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Samantha Brown, and new show Dhani Jones tackles the globe.

Got the Prince book Prince: Life & Times by Jason Draper, I wrote of earlier, in the mail yesterday. This book is huge. It measures about 13 x 9 inches. (Couldn't find a ruler). Think of an atlas but bigger. It also rocks a purple velvet cover for a very nice feel and look.

It pretty much documents, very honestly, everything that happens in his career up till now with amazing images and dictation. It's filled with a time line of awards, quotes from his royal badness , band members and friends, family pictures and so on. This is a must for the serious Prince fan.
